A pioneer in the ignition interlock industry, Andi Haa brings more than two decades of expertise in product standards, certification, and quality systems. She worked directly with Underwriters Laboratories on creating a new UL category addressing NHTSA requirements for breath alcohol ignition interlock devices and has led multiple organizations through ISO 9001 certification.

Before entering the interlock field, Andi helped develop and standardize surge protective devices for UL, IEEE, IEC, and NEMA, earning two patents and recognition as a UL-certified Manufacturer Technical Expert. As Certification Liaison and Quality Systems Manager for Guardian Interlock, she collaborated with Dan Rhodes during the successful Florida RFP submission.

Motivated by personal loss, Andi channels her passion for safety into every project she supports. Born in New York and having served as a missionary in Colombia, she is most proud of her role as a mother and grandmother.
